Jeffrey Devine

President & Founder

Jeffrey Devine, CMP

Jeff brings 23-years of experience from the hotel, special event and convention management industry to the Hybrid Group team. Serving in the Senior Management and Executive ranks of worldwide firms such as SmithBucklin Corporation, ConferenceDirect and Marriott Corporation, Jeff has been at the forefront of developing and executing strategic convention and tradeshow management models for multi-national corporations and associations. Jeff’s experience spans such industry sectors including the healthcare, technology, philanthropic, religious, manufacturing, insurance and financial industries. Jeff’s management portfolios includes both domestic and international expertise for land and sea meetings, events and incentive programs ranging in size from 500 to nearly 30,000 attendees per event.

Jeff has held his professional certification as a CMP from the Convention Industry Council for over ten years and earned his undergraduate degree in Corporate Communications from DePaul University – Chicago. He is a member of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), Meeting Professionals International (MPI), the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), and (IATAN) the International Association of Travel Agents Network.

As a result of Jeff’s experience in the Convention Management Industry, he has assembled 23 years of the very best industry practices into a new “Hybrid” service model, hence developing the industries newest brand for the future………the Hybrid Group. Jeff’s goal for the Hybrid Group is simple, to always adapt to our new global-world and ever changing industry by consistently creating new “Hybrids” of services and partnerships to service our clients with the best convention management processes for the long term.

Jeff resides in the City of Chicago with his wife Amie. He spends time doing what is most important….spending time with family, friends and colleagues. He also enjoys traveling, biking and simply having a blast growing an exciting new industry brand, the Hybrid Group.

Amie Devine

Director of Operations

Amie Devine, CMP

Amie brings 17 years of expertise to the Hybrid Group from the special event, continuing medical education (CME) and convention management industry.

Previously, Amie served as CME Senior Meeting Manager at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. She produced and managed CME meetings and events throughout North America. She was responsible for ensuring CME activities sponsored by NU adhered to strict ACCME Guidelines and Standards via strict review processes overseen by ACCME compliance.

Prior to her tenure at Northwestern University – Chicago, she was the Manager of Meetings & Convention Operations with EPS, Inc. headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. Amie produced and managed meetings and conventions ranging in size from 100 to more than 7,500 attendees worldwide. She managed several corporate travel incentive programs including full-ship international charters with Royal Caribbean, Norwegian and Carnival Cruise Lines.

Amie earned her professional certification as a CMP from the Convention Industry Council and received her B.A. degree in Social Work from Illinois State University. She is a member of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA). She is a volunteer for Bright Endeavors, a non for profit social enterprise committed to helping inner city, homeless and at risk women in Chicago. Amie resides in Chicago and enjoys long range biking and hiking, as well as traveling.

Regina Panza

Regina Panza

Regina Panza is a Global Account Manager with the Hybrid Group and brings over twenty years of corporate meeting planning experience to her role.

Regina worked with Hyatt Hotels Corporation, having held various food and beverage management roles at Hyatt Regency Oak Brook and Hyatt Regency Chicago. During her time at Hyatt she developed a passion for the hospitality industry and expanded her knowledge by delving into the off-premise catering arena, thereby gaining additional sales and logistics experience.

In 1996, Regina joined the Meetings and Events department at McDonald’s Corporation. During her tenure at McDonald’s, Regina’s meeting management responsibilities included both domestic and international planning and execution of meetings and conventions ranging in size from 10 attendees to 17,000 attendees. Over that time, she developed a deeper knowledge for logistics, contracting and housing management. She used that knowledge to design an education curriculum and tools for use by internal employees to provide efficiencies and promote the consistent execution of company meetings. In her most recent role at McDonald’s as Senior Meeting Manager, Regina was instrumental in implementing a strategic meetings management program and oversaw the sourcing and contracting function with one of the responsibilities being resell, attrition and cancellation negotiations. Her exceptional customer service, strong negotiation skills and contracting knowledge allow her the opportunity to build trusting relationships with her clients saving them time, energy and money.

Regina graduated from Purdue University in 1984 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree. She likes to stay involved with PCMA and MPI industry events. She resides in Oswego, a suburb of Chicago, with her husband and four teenage children. She loves spending time with her children and being a spectator at their various sport activities, and enjoys cooking and spending time with family and friends appreciating good food and wine.

Maegan Criscione

Account Manager

Maegan Criscione

Excited to be part of the Hybrid Group Team, Maegan brings experience in conference management, education and scientific program management, and strategic communication.

As an account manager, Maegan supports client growth through strategic event management and education programming. She has experience supporting and producing events ranging from 50 – 2,500 attendees. Maegan has also managed scientific research education programs ranging from 20 - 200+ sessions. Her experience includes both association and corporate business.

Maegan also plans, develops and implements various communications initiatives for the Hybrid Group. She has experience creating, reviewing and developing both written and visual content for various outlets for both internal and external communication.

Maegan holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Spanish Language from Illinois State University.
